Hawaii: Days One and Two

Monday Day One :

We arrived in Oahu! Alexa was a champion on the 5.5 hour flight! I was scared about her on the flight for nothing! Steve, Alexa, and I arrived at 12:30 at HNL. We tried to get some food supplies at Costco but they were closed, bummer. We picked up some groceries at Foodland and headed to the condo at Turtle Bay. Steve watched the end of the football game and we also walked to the beach. Alexa loved the ocean immediately! I was so surprised that even when she got salt water on her face and in her mouth she just kept on playing and splashing! Later we put Alexa to bed and then I drove back to the airport to pick up my parents who flew in after 9pm. (I didn't take any pictures today, silly)

Tuesday Day Two:

Woke up in paradise!
Alexa was excited to see her grandparents there when she woke up!
Visited the Dole Plantation
Got fantastic pineapple burgers at Kua'aina in Haleiwa
Went to a couple of different beaches on the north shore
Steve made us bury him in the sand
We saw a bunch of sea turtles on the beach being protected by environmentalists
