Phoenix for New Years

We headed down to Phonix on New Years Eve. We carpooled with my parents, Dawson, Jade, and Andrew. We got to stay in Carlton and Lindsey's brand new house! We helped then with projects all weekend. That night Steve and I went to Sean and Cari Sue's new years party at their house in Gilbert and played games.

On New Years Day, Steve got to go to the Fiesta Bowl with Sean, compliments of his brother Kim. They got to sit on the 2nd row, 25-yard line. Lindsey, Cari Sue, and I took the kids to a fun train park in Scottsdale. We could have stayed at the model train museum for hours! That night, my parents watched the kids and the rest of us went to IKEA and to dinner.

On Saturday, Steve went golfing in the morning with Kim and Sean. We went to an orange orchard and ate a delicious lunch at Jalapeno Bucks. Later we went to Freestone Park, and while there the kids got to ride down a giant hill on Tonka trucks. They LOVED that. That night we all went to eat at Rosa's Mexican Grill.

On Sunday morning, we headed home. I'm glad we were able to help Lindsey and Carlton with some projects to get them settled in their new house. Their house is very nice, and somehow I didn't even get one picture inside! It was a fun and productive trip, just a long drive!
